Ventilation/Airway Specialist
Ventilation/Airway Specialist
COVIDIEN, a world leader in disposable medical devices, has an immediate opening for a Ventilation/Airway Specialist is responsible for the Puritan Bennett, Shiley, Mallinckrodt (airways) , DAR, Capnography, BIS and INVOS product lines (referred as ventilation and airway products) within the Respiratory & Monitoring Solutions business unit of Covidien and reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
Job Duties
Responsible and accountable for achieving the sales and gross profit quotas for the territory, while keeping expenses within guidelines.
Develop and conduct strong relationships with client base to enhance the company’s image and promote Covidien’s values.
Develop and implement business plans for the territory.
Coordinate and conduct sales presentations.
Provide in-service sessions to customers at any given time.
Submit various reports as specified by the division in a timely fashion.
Report all sales activities and trends in Covidien’s CRM Sales Force.com
Proactively prepare and coordinate all tenders by completing all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
Promote and abide by Covidien’s Code of Ethics.
Successfully complete product and clinical training and ensure constant update of product knowledge.
Comply with internal administrative policies and procedures.
Attend trade shows and conventions.
Certified Respiratory Therapist with Clinical experience in acute hospital setting (ICU, NICU an asset)
Job Requirements
Sales Experience in the healthcare industry an asset
Demonstrates perseverance, determination and autonomy
Excellent planning and organizational abilities
Solid business acumen and analytical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Solid computer skills (MS-Office suite)
Ability to work effectively/productively on an individual or group basis
Must possess a valid driver’s license
